Wilderness Safety Education Is Our Standing Mission

CLMRG loves to provide safety presentations and demonstrations to any group. Please contact us if you wish to have us come to speek to your school, organization, or event. We will happily answer questions and demonstrate some of the skills we use to search for and rescue missing persons in the wilderness and promote environmental awareness.

Lost but Found, Safe and Sound

The Lost But Found Program from The Association of National Park Rangers is a short presentation to help explain to elementry schoolers how to stay safe if they find themselves lost in the back country. See their Official Site for more information.
CLMRG offers an hour long program that details what kids can do to prevent becoming lost in the wilderness and if the worst happens, what actions they can take to help searchers find them. After viewing the video, CLMRG members lead a discussion and demonstration to re-enforce the lessons presented.

Need a guide?
CLMRG members have been hiking the mountains for decades. If you want to get to a specific area but are unsure how or think you just want that extra measure of safety, please get a hold of us and we will happily set up a hike with you!

Check out our New Letter
We keep our members and friends up to date with a news letter 2 to 4 times a year. It includes operations summaries, pictures, public events, and member success stories.
